I always liked this body style. It's cool and different. Sort of a precursor to the El Camino/Ranchero. Years back, someone offered a couple of resin options. Don't know if they're still available though. I'd like to see the 37 Chevy/39 ford tooled up.

IDK, thinking it is an updated Brat more than anything.

I finished this one in 2009, from the snap kit.  Back in the 1930s you could buy the drop in pickup box for a coupe. I believe you could find it in the Sears catalog.  I thought that would be a cool idea for this rod.

Have a look at Smyth Performance. https://www.smythkitcars.com/

He's building ute kits for Volkswagen Mk4 Jetta, Volkswagen Mk5 Jetta, Audi A4, Dodge Charger, and now the Subaru WRX/STI.

I love this stuff.

Picturing an SRT Charger Ute.

Those are neat...in scale, I'd like to build a ute from the Revell Dodge Magnum.

I would almost say the top pic is a Huston Terraplane.  Might look under that on google.

On the two coupes with the beds sticking out of the back, judging by the seals around the edges it looks like the beds are removable/retractable.  The burgundy and black one looks almost like the bed slides in and out like a file drawer.  Is this the case?
