Dann Tier Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Hey, everyone!!, I coulda sworn that I finished my Aoshima Lamborghini Aventador in January, but when I checked it wasn't.....bummer, so this is the only build I got done this year.....oh well, lets get cracking on in the new year!!….cant wait to see all of your creativity!!!! -God bless!!
landman Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Well Dann, with results like this you don't need any more.

bbowser Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 That's a beauty! Getting all those opening panels to fit together when closed must have been a bear. Thanks for sharing.
TooOld Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Beautiful work Dann , it looks awesome all opened up ! I have the same problem , seems I finished 3 builds the last week of December 2017 so they don't count .
89AKurt Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Quality vs. quantity, that's all. I still haven't started my trophy room topic, know not many more were built. We all bow down....
peekay Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Very accomplished! That rich brown interior is just perfect.
Peter Lombardo Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Great build of a difficult kit..... I have had it for a long time now and it scares the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH out of me every time I open the box. One of these days I will have to give it go. Seriously, well done.

Thanks for sharing. Thanks, Bruce!!, it actually wasn't that bad after all the hours of staring, and test-fitting. I couldn't have done it without my canopy glue. Being able to actually assemble it, and where the cowls are concerned, literally attaching one piece at a time, and tweaking it until the cowl fit properly, was the way to beat this kit. Also, sanding things with the compensation for anticipated paint thickness was a MUST in this kit.
Ich_Will Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 One car...with 6x the effort put into all the cars I’ve ever built combined. Still beautifully done.

I know!...lol, if I woulda focused on two or three instead of 8, I woulda had at least one more done!....lol. I definitely learned that I CAN handle doing 8 at a time, but its gonna be a looooong time before I get any feeling of accomplishment. I decided to keep it to only 4 at a time....it feels better.

I think you should, Peter!, I wanted to do all the stressful, tough-stuff for everybody, so that they could confidently have fun building this amazing kit.
ismaelg Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Slacker! Now go ahead and finish my Isdera and the Esprit! Not much more to say about the Huayra except that keep that dog away. Dogs and car wheels don't mix.
