gotnitro? Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Very interesting project , easily one of my favorite Oshkosh trucks !! I'm definitely following along,
Jim B Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 I can barely get kits together. A complete scratch build of a M1070 just makes my head hurt. Good luck, and looking forward to your progress. Now, where's that Advil? 1
Oldmopars Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 I know it is a different scale, and a slightly different truck, it may give you some inspiration. Looks like a huge project, I am looking forward to seeing it. I would love to see it in 1/25 or 1/24 scale.
Grzegorz Posted January 11, 2019 Author Posted January 11, 2019 ... so far, i make a cabin, there is a lot of grinding... 2
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 OH WOW!! It looks like you're off to an EXCELLENT start.
tbill Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Very nice ! At this speed, you should be done in two weeks?

SfanGoch Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 The cab looks good. If you'd like, I can provide you with D/L links for all of the tech manuals (-10/-20/-24/-34) and and technical bulletins for the M1070 and M1000 trailer. I use them as references to super detail the Hobby Boss 1/35 M1070 HET. The frame is pretty involved and contains many details which would be visible in 1/24 and the manuals come in handy.
TECHMAN Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Absolutely AMAZING!!!! Truly talented to be able to scratch-build a complex project like that!!!!! Looking forward to the progress...…….. DJ

It seems to me that this is the most complicated part to built. Thanks P.S. i send to you PM
Grzegorz Posted January 13, 2019 Author Posted January 13, 2019 ....let's move on. wheels. i make my own resin wheels, this is for comparison with a normal size wheel from 1/24 truck....
gotnitro? Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Unbelievable you've even made the wheels awesome work

landman Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 This is well on its way to match all the other wonders you have built. Inspirational to us who are barely scratching the surface of scratchbuilding.
mikemodeler Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 Your builds always amaze me. The level of scratchbuilding and the subjects you tackle are beyond my abilities and inspire me to try harder. I get excited when I can create a step bumper for a pickup truck !
