This was built using the Modelhaus Coronet 2 dr. sedan to start with. Obvious door line and roof changes and sculpted a "Texan" script. made a mold from that so I could make duplicates.

I though and I might be wrong but wasn't the Texan only built to co-inside with the La Femme in 1955 and 56?  Never knew they made them after that..Beautiful model and very well done and clean..

Aaaah! Beautiful as usual Paul!

This is another one of those "childhood cars" I saw when I first knew what a car was, but had no idea. My Dad would have loved this one as he was a HUGE Chrysler man through most of his car buying years. Kinda reminds me of my Dad's '57 Plymouth (different make obviously though) as that's the first car I can remember him buying after he let his '55 Savoy go.

Another great looking conversion from your bench. This is a great looking car that I'd like to see as a modern kit... I like your color choice and the overall look is just spot on otherwise, too. Nice clean BMF work finishes it off.

Blimey Paul!! Are you serious? This is amazing! How many builds do you manage per year? And they're all so good. Not OOB, but modified, too. Stunning work. You are definitely in the 'elite' category.

Thank you all very much!

Wayne Dodge made Texans from 1956 through the 1958 Model year. I wonder if any La Femme Texans were built in 56?

Thanks Guy, At one point, I was putting out roughly 125 builds a year. I'm currently doing about 45- 50.

Beautiful conversion to a more door. This build looks like it should be on the showroom floor at a dealership.

Paul, you're killin' me with all your gorgeous work, and perfect subject matter! You are truly the master! I see your auctions on ebay and would LOVE to own some of them.
