Taking pictures is not my strong suit, but I try to do my very best out of respect for you, the viewers. Most of you will never see this one live, so it’s my job to present it to you in a way so you are not wasting your time by klicking on this topic.

Well done. Its great to see an iconic Mk1 built as a road car, rather than a rally one. Now all you need is a Mk2 to display next to it!

Yeah, you nailed it!

you crammed in a lot of details which really work well.

I get to see a whole bunch of these MK1's here in the U.K. during the summer months. All of them are tuned and caged. Hardly any are 'stock'.

I love these cars and you captured the feel of it very well. Despite the problems you mentioned, you got a very nice model out of this kit.

That is a proper attitude! :) I like your build and the photos too. I assume that, given your avatar name, you'll probably have to mostly take them at night, which isn't easy... :D

I love the Escort you did, looks great. I have always loved those cars, too bad they never made it to the USA. The "Escort" we got in the 80's was a rolling turd.

What a great little model Adam. It's a different type of challenge to replicate a 1:1 car that you are actually familiar with. There is only so much a builder can do to the main model so attention must be paid to the small details to bring a little extra personality to the build and your model has a lot of personality. All of the interior junk and tools etc are the perfect finishing touch for this model. Well done.
