That 65 could not have ended up with a better builder. Thanks Andy. I need to finish this and the '65 A/FX 7 hours ago, Scott8950 said: wow!! where do you find this stuff at? i find a few good ones here and there but your like a magnet for them. I am going to my very first toy and collectible show in 2 weeks and I've been told its loaded with models and promo cars. im hoping to find a few things on my list. Ebay occasionally delivers a gem. 2 hours ago, Straightliner59 said: Wow! A virgin is a rare find, indeed. Nice! The roof did have a hairline crack part of the way (not mentioned by the seller!) but that is already repaired and it is missing tail lights.
doggie427 Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 You could always do Darrell Drokes B/FX ‘65 Fairlane Thunderbolt

Snake45 Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Good to see you score this. I know you love those '65 Fords and I can't think of anyone who would do a better job with it.
afx Posted May 23, 2019 Author Posted May 23, 2019 Thanks Snake, hopefully it will make it onto my workbench soon.

Working on the interior, I'll post pictures when I get a chance.
Lordmodelbuilder Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Coming along quite nicely. Been working on my 66 a little. Got one rear wheel opening almost back to stock. Gotta do the other. Also need to get a mustang kit for the chassis.
afx Posted May 31, 2019 Author Posted May 31, 2019 Thanks Brad. I hope you post your project. Unfortunately most of these kits had the wheel wells modified by the original builder.
Straightliner59 Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Very nice work,JC! Enjoying this thread, for sure.
