maltsr Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Latest build, Hasegawa 250 Ferrari Testarossa from 1957/8. My first ever airbrush paint job, using Tamiya's new LP Bright Red lacquer. I did cheat by using TS13 spraycan clear though...Excellent kit that went together really well.
peekay Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 That looks great! I've used TS13 over airbrushed colour coats on my last 10 or so models. It doesn't dry quite hard enough but it's available, easy to use and safe.
MrObsessive Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 BEAUTIFUL! Terrific job on one of my favorite Ferrari's of the '50's!
gtx6970 Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Very nice. I used to work at a shop that was building a replica of one . last I saw the drive train and suspension was done.,Using all correct period Ferrari pieces most of the body was completed ( all hand fabricated aluminum ) Cars owner ran out of money so the car sat in storage for a bit . then the shops owner passed away and closed up just a couple years ago. So i often wonder what ever happened to the project Car was being done at a shop called C.Cook Enterprises in Erlanger KY should anyone know where it ended up
89AKurt Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Looks awesome, from the top side of the planet! I have the kit but have not opened it, so it's nice to see one built.
Jim N Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 I enjoy the looks of these old Ferraris. You did a great job on this one.
