rastta Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 This is the Revell kit. Since I recently did the 1969 Boss 302, I wanted to do it's natural companion the 1969 Z28. Really liked this kit - nice amount of detail and minimal flash. Decided to do the white houndstooth interior, so I made some houndstooth decals using a pattern, photoshop and decal paper. Happy with the results. Went with Testors one coat lacquer again since I just really like how it lays down and dries quickly. The color is Blue Ice. Stripe decals were a bit of a PITA and despite my best efforts, still had a couple small bubbles in them.
Jim N Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Both look excellent! The blue on the Camaro is stunning.
LouO Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 (edited) Both are very nice. Edited May 31, 2019 by LouO
Dragonhawk1066 Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 (edited) Very sharp! Well done and great job on the houndstooth. Edited June 1, 2019 by Dragonhawk1066
Peter Lombardo Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Very nice, both of them....... I am willing to bet that the 1969 Camaro is the most "posted" kit on this site. Your two builds look good together, reminds me of the late 60's and all of the affordable wonderful personal sport coupes we had to choose from...... decisions, decisions.
Can-Con Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 They both look great but I love the paint on the Camaro. I keep coming back to look at it.
