crossfire 2004 Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 A quickly build, pretty much out of the box bar remounting the flip front hinges so that it actually tilted without falling off and almost aligned with the cowl when closed. Paint is Vauxhall (GM) Blazing Orange rattle can over a white base and it really pops in the sunlight.
Snake45 Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Very sharp. We don't see enough builds of this kit. Well done and model on!Â
crossfire 2004 Posted August 2, 2019 Author Posted August 2, 2019 Thanks guys, quite an enjoyable build despite its age and inherent issues with the flip front.
Chuckyg1 Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 This looks good. Didn't realize this kit built up so nice
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Well done build of a classic kit.... -RRR
alan barton Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 That looks really sharp Roger. You see the coupe all the time but the panel - not so often! It really is one of those forgotten kits that has more to offer than people think. I have one on the bench right now, just waiting to get some exhaust header issues sorted and it will be done. Thanks for giving me some inspiration to get it finished. Cheers Alan
stavanzer Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Nice to see a possible inspiration for Alan Barton's Willis build.
Roadrunner Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 I really like that color, it's very similar to what I hope to use on a '40 Willys coupe that I'm working on right now.
dragmodels44 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Beautiful job! That color is striking!??
mustang1989 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 (edited) Terrific lookin' Willys. Don't see the panel vans being built much so this is a good change up. Edited February 11, 2020 by mustang1989
gonzo64nova Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 Love the Willys panel gassers, the color really makes this build. Taking photos outside with natural light makes the model much more realistic looking.
