Very nicely done! I take it you applied the BMF before the clearcoat?

Thanks! No, the foil was applied after clear coating.

Gorgeous finish on what was a great looking car! Awesome detailing as well! I’m dog-earing that interior photo as well. I have that kit minus the interior. My plan is to either scratch build one or modify one I have from a destroyed ‘60 Dodge Phoenix promo that is a very close fit, albeit, not a very close match style-wise.

Chris, if you still need a '60 DeSoto interior, I have one that someone stuck in my '59 Plymouth - it's painted and a little beat-up but definitely usable. PM me your address and I'll send it along. I'll sink it in the purple pond tonight to get it cleaned up.

Very nice build. The DeSoto was bold, but very nicely-done, and I think a bit underrated. I consider it and it's companion Chrysler to be one of Exner's better designs.

What a great build! The Colour you chose is perfect for the car. The finish is excellent as well.

I agree 100%!! Excellent work on a rare model.
