started doing this right after I got my first one at 7yrs old.

The funky one with the pink stripes was for a customer... wanted something cheesy, so that's what i gave them... (pictures taken before clear coat)

So, what other stuff do y'all paint?

Not sure this counts but in between models I will sometimes do one of the more involved paint by number kits .

The "paint buy the numbers kits" I remember were hard to tell what they were supposed to be. These two look great.

House's?

I did that for a few years.... was pretty good at it and enjoyed the work. Coolest part about painting houses, the job site changes once you're done, and you're never in one place too long........

I build and paint/refinish guitars.

This 7-string Explorer body was just finished.

Also have a warlock as well

I'm just as big a guitar nut as I am a model nut...  I started playing at 7.

I think I have over 40 guitars (and just as many amps) in my hobby room, and my wife hates it (that's how I know they are all keepers)

Cool to have someone else here into guitars also.

Music is my biggest hobby. Whether it's buying/discussing/listening to it, or reading about it, or playing/buying/building guitars, I love it all.

I've been playing for about 30 years now. I've sold a few of the guitars that I never played, so I'm down to about 20 right now. With a couple on the work bench. Only a couple of amps though.

Same here... guitar was my first real passion I think.

I've been at it now 22yrs.

I have a problem with not wanting to sell stuff... (the collector in me) so just keep accumulating stuff.

I did sell on an SG standard recently because I hated everything about it except its looks.

Biggest highlight of my guitar playing was being given the opportunity to play some of the rarest, most important, and valuable guitars and amps in the world at the Songbirds museum in Chatanooga. I played a few things there that really made me question my life if I were to drop it.

I've painted motorcycle helmets, hard hats, MC gas tanks, fenders etc, guitars. Most anything that would be considered "smaller" Not a car although I used to help a neighbor do that.

I  made a body for one of my son's guitars and custom painted it. I tried to learn the bass but I am not musically inclined. I did convert my bass to fretless. I made a different body also. Actually I made the body too small. I wanted a lighter bass but I shoulda made it a tad bigger. Body is walnut, fret board is maple and walnut.

I think it looks cool... I used to have a 3/4 scale bass that I wish I still had.

Great looking Pin Striping. You could hang out at car shows and make some money.

Serious money...

I knew a guy that used to put pinstripes one steel wheels at car shows... for $100 a wheel and had a line a mile long!

He would put the wheel on a spindle and give it a spin and carefully apply a large I think (squirrel hair) pinstripe brush and be done in about 5 seconds!

$100 bones in 5 seconds is a serious payday in my book lol!!
