Printed the frame, and some of the body parts, for an Outlaw Kart designed by @Stevens19

Couldn’t resist a real quick mock-up of the parts I’ve printed so far:

For those not familiar, Outlaw Karts are a regular go kart mixed with a sprint car…so, regular super short go-kart wheelbase but a tuned Honda 500cc bike engine, same power to weight ratio as a full-size sprint car and they race ‘em on dirt.

Still gotta print the wing, and then clean up that tiny little frame…

Here’s some really nice finished builds by the creator of the file:

That's pretty cool! Looks like a fun little project!

Made some adjustable screw jacks. Still have to make some cradles for the tops yet.

I've been of a roll doing little stuff after building the bar for my trailer last week. Today I decided to build a bench for my garage.

Not today, but a build for the annual 24 Hour build…I’m not a Facebook guy (and that’s primarily where it’s coordinated), so I guess I’ll post them here

1/25th Outlaw Kart from a file by @Stevens19 right here on the forum…I’m planning a more detailed build of one of these, but it was a detailed enough kit to be a blast to build in a day:

I thought it looked like a fun, cool little project, before you started on it. Now, it's even cooler! Nice work, Jim!

This was not accomplished only today but took several days. I'm building a 49 Ford and did not want bumper guards, so with some work I was able to remove them and they came out pretty good. I do have a few other 49 n 50s so I went out and bought a resin kit and casted them. They actually came out pretty good considering I've never really cast anything other than some valve covers

Nice job with the casting, I've had 50/50 success with it. 👍

Thank you..... I also ended up doing some cylinder heads from the AMT '56 Ford to use on my 60 and 62 Ford trucks since they are incorrect.

More rust work. Still have to seal it, I've had enough for tonight.

Thanks, lots of fun work so far. Haven't had any free time to get back after it, hopefully the weather relaxes around here.

I love the smoothed bumpers for the '49/'50 Fords!

I've made a few myself for other projects, but they were "one-offs" no copies.

I got nothing model related today, but I did unload 72 12x12 red cement pavers from a trailer to the back yard. A lot harder than my model building!

Sprayed this purple I mixed with One-Shot, cut with lacquer thinner. It's taking longer to dry than I'd hoped, but knew that was a possibility, with the One-Shot. Needs a little work, then another coat.

Thank you, sir! This one's actually a Badman. I'm pretty excited about it! Hoping to have it done in a month, or less.

I’m almost finished with a Salvinos Jr Next Gen NASCAR Camaro kit I painted about a year ago and started back working on a few weeks ago. These things are downright intimidating and finicky to build.I almost wanted to throw this one back in the box😂 I hope to have it finished soon.
