Spent a little more time on the chassis and this is where you find out the difference between box stock and resin cast... the latter is often times mm's thicker in places.

Thanks, Wayne!  I am amazed, myself!!  Measure thrice... cut a little and measure again before you cut anymore!!!  When I started this project I thought it was going to end up being more complicated.  But, surprise, surprise... this is getting close to being ready for paint and assembly.  -KK

I love the work you are putting into this. It is coming along nicely, with the exception of your last pic. That firewall looks like it's going to need to be notched to fit the engine.

I know from experience, any changes with the engine, requires doing something to the firewall.  You are making great progress!  Switching out the radiator introduces a new challenge, just wanted to suggest thinking about panels on each side to block the wheel wells (missing from the original kit).

Brother, I've been watching your "Paint" truck build to see what I can barrow from you expertise! You nailed the missing stops for the 3100 inner fender wells!! Been very fortunate with the way my 3100 is coming together!!! Think about visiting our show this coming November... OK? -KK
