cruz Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Used the resin Fireball Modelworks conversion kit to make it a 250. Also added the rear view mirrors, farm jack and trailer hitch from Fireball. Paint is Tamiya, no clear.
vincen47 Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Excellent job, really nice upgrades. A fine looking model.
tbill Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Fantastic job! Love all the added details . If I may ask one question? Your battery cable terminals look fantastic, how did you do them/what did you use ?
Michael Bloes Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 That's so bitchin. You went with the styleside bumper in the back instead of the step.

Not the OP, but Replicas & Miniatures make them: Battery Terminals, part number P-140, a pack of 12 for $8.50. You get three pair of inline and three pair of side feed.

cotto Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Stunning as usual my friend, your attention to detail always sets that bar pretty high. What did you use for the stickshift? Looks very real, bend and all. Also, what did you use for the carpeting? Looks very convincing. The textured finish bed looks really good, great idea on that!
RAMBENNA Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 the best one of this kit I have seen done. it's fantastic, great job

Thanks guys, the stickshift is a hypodermic needle bent to the position you see. Carpeting is embossing powder, I think it is more convincing than flocking.
gatorincebu Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Marcos , WOW impressive job on this onme. Looks great ! Be Well Gator
Erik Smith Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Great looking model. Awesome work. I was waiting for somebody to finish one of the Fireball conversions.
leafsprings Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Great job on the build. The conversion to 3/4 ton and the color combo really does justice to this Moebius kit.
carrucha Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Nice build. Very well detailed and finished. I like the tool box in the bed. What is your source for the tool box?
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Very nice looking build!! I like the look with stock wheels without hubcaps.
Bills72sj Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 I like a lot of other peoples builds. But, I absolutely LOVE this one! Can you put me in your will? I would be proud to display it in my model cabinet. It is STUNNING!

What is your source for the tool box? Thank you guys, the tool box was scratch built with some plastic diamond plate material I was given by a friend. You should be able to acquire it at a hobby store or online...
