Rob Hall Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Had another one of our senior Yorkies pass last night. He was 14, had been on medication for about 9 months for an enlarged heart and other issues, rushed him to the vet yesterday after a seizure like incident in the yard yesterday. He seemed back to normal yesterday evening, but during the night experienced labored breathing and keeled over from what I believe was a heart attack. I love having dogs, but letting go never gets any less painful. Lost Penny at age 15 last July, have two more Yorkies age 12 and 13 (that seem to be in good overall health).
Tom Geiger Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 So sorry to hear Rob! They are little family members and we surely miss them when they are gone
my66s55 Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Sorry for you loss Rob, but somewhere out there is another Zoie needing you.
stavanzer Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 I feel for you. It just hurts when one of them passes.
espo Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 So sorry for your loss. Never easy when you lose a member of the family like this.
Nazz Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Sorry for your loss Rob. I feel for you , we lost Kodi a week ago last Saturday. They become a part of your family and leave a big hole when they go. I hope it is some comfort to know there are others here supporting you in this difficult time.
slusher Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Sorry for your loss of Zoie Rob. So hard letting them go pets are such a blessing...
TonyK Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH! Sorry about your loss. Your 2 other Yorkies need to stay healthy for many more years. We have 2 Westies but my wife is always talking about adding a Yorkie to the mix. She loves them.
Rob Hall Posted April 22, 2020 Author Posted April 22, 2020 (edited) Thanks all for the comments, much appreciated. I love Westies also, we had two of them. Have had 4 Yorkies, 3 Australian Terriers, a Silky and two mixes over the last 15 years.. Henry and Ginny are missing Zoie. Edited April 22, 2020 by Rob Hall
