Brudda Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Fisher model.1/32 . This is a repost. Pitts biplane. Very fun build. Resin , brass and photoetch. Painted red and grabber blue. First resin model and first plane I have built. Had to solder brass parts. A lot of sanding since it was resin. The fit was really good. This build was way out of my comfort zone. Doing a Wing nut wings Albatros. This is also way out of my comfort zone but giving it a try. Hope you like.
Pete J. Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 (edited) I didn't know that Paul Fisher had done one of these. I always loved that little aircraft. The S2 was extremely rugged and handled very well I understand. I never had a chance to fly one, but always wished I could. Very nice representation of the Type! Edited May 5, 2020 by Pete J.
peteski Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Yeah, that little plane looks great - lots of detail. Looks like it was build by a pro. I guess you do well, even out of your comfort zone!
Brudda Posted May 16, 2020 Author Posted May 16, 2020 Thank you PeteJ. Thank you cobra man. Thank you peteski. And thank you Slusher , also for the spiritual guidance.
Nazz Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 Great job Bruce. Well done for your first plane . Nice detail, and at 1/32 it would still be small. Definitely looks right. I've seen these preform at air shows, always entertaining to see fly.
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 (edited) Very nice. With all that detail and those Dzus fasteners, if shot outside in daylight, I think it would come off as very realistic. I'd always intended to build a real one, but I think I might be running out of time. Edited September 3, 2020 by Ace-Garageguy
ksnow Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Very nice build. I remember watching a lot of those at airshows when I was a kid.

Husky1943 Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Wow, it's beautiful and actually PERFECT!
Brudda Posted September 6, 2020 Author Posted September 6, 2020 Thank all of you. This was a fun build. I should have bought another one. Paul Fisher was wiped out with the fires in California. He was in contact with me during the build. Great guy.
