64Comet404 Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 I posted a few pics yesterday in the WIP section, but since then, I have managed to add all the little finishing touches. I made a distributor and wired the engine, but apart from the wiring and a set of licence plates, it is OOB. Compared to the majority of Tamiya kits, I found this kit had a number of minor fit issues. As I mentioned earlier, this kit was very reminiscent of an Ebbro kit in execution, so I have a feeling that this car probably came from the same designer. The paint started out as TS Alpine Blue, but both my 20+ year old cans crapped out during spraying, so the finish coats were TS-54 metallic blue with a clear topcoat. Happy to see this done, now on to the next build!

MeatMan Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Nice! I built one last year and it was a joy to build.
doorsovdoon Posted July 11, 2020 Posted July 11, 2020 Nicely detailed kit that. Paintwork looks smooth as glass!
Funkychiken Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 That chrome detailing is very sharp, Looks stunning!
Bernard Kron Posted July 20, 2020 Posted July 20, 2020 The A110 is one of my dream cars, in scale or 1:1. Really nicely executed build. This looks like a fine kit. That blue may be "incorrect" but it's a stunner in the daylight. A super nice model.
Dann Tier Posted July 20, 2020 Posted July 20, 2020 Love this car!!!, and you did a great job on it!!!
