Hello everyone.  This is the first model that I've finished since I had my heart surgery back in February.  It is a curbside build, done up as a mild Custom.  The color is HOK Tangelo Orange Pearl with pinstripe and flame decals from my parts stash.  The hood and trunk were smoothed and the door handles were removed.  I also modified the side trim on the rear quarters.  The headlights were frenched into the fenders and PE half-moon headlight shields were added.  I changed the grille to one from my parts box with more "teeth".  I sanded pieces of clear red plastic to fit into the recesses for the taillight housings, to represent frenched taillights.  The hubcaps also came from my parts box, as did the spotlights, mirror and antenna,

Thanks for looking in on this and I apologize for the quality of the pictures.  Any and all comments are welcomed and appreciated, as always.

Please all stay well and safe in these tough times.   I'm now moving on to my next "unique" creation.

Great to see your recent work Richard. I’ve always liked the mild custom look for mid-century cars and yours does it to a “T”. Also happy to see you’re on the mend!
Stay well, Misha

Glad to see your back at your work bench again. Beautiful color and the finish is really smooth looking. I like the mild custom look here.

Thank you all very much for your kind comments and well wishes.  I have many more projects lined up on my TO DO list and a couple I'm currently working on.  On my workbench right now is a '59 Dodge Street Machine.  I also am eagerly looking forward to being able to attend some model shows as soon as this COVID19 catastrophe is behind us "for good".  I won't take any chances until then as my doctors advise that I am in the "high risk category" due to my age (73), and my medical issues (the heart stuff, HBP, Type 2 Diabetes).  Please all stay safe, healthy and well.  Thanks again.
