realgone58 Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Bought this already sprayed in a shade extremely close to factory Coronado Red, halfway decent, so I sprayed the roof white, and detailed it.
doorsovdoon Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Very nice! My favourite era of American car design, you can see the move forward into the 60's but has a lot of the 1950's still present.
satterwhite78 Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 don't comment much of late when surfing the site viewing some great builds by some very talented people, but I have not yet seen one as captivating as yours. With all that's coming out in the coming weeks, my main mission now is to obtain a 60 Bonneville kit! I'm sure you've heard it before, but if you get tired or not satisfied down the road with it........... Great build1
Geno Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 Alan, that looks exceptional, I always liked the '60 Pontiac bodystyle.
Tiger89 Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 Beautiful! Did you find this on E-bay like the '60 Buick I recently bought?
High octane Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 Wow Alan, that is beautiful. Reminds me of my first car which was a '60 Pontiac Ventura, only it was a four door with a Vista roof. While I liked the car a lot, it was my first car and I beat the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH out of it which I was sorry for. Sighhh. Again I really like your Bonny model and the colors look great.
RAMBENNA Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 wow beautiful build looks great, love it in that color

blizzy63 Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 AMT last issued this kit (T-140) as the 'Buttercup Bomb' in 1969. I wonder if the mold still exists somewhere? Images below: 1960 annual hardtop 3-in-1 kit; 1965 Craftsman Series; 1969 'Buttercup Bomb'
