Since my wife is busy working this evening, I thought I'd dig this out. Has been in the works for a few years now. Had to dust it off. A while ago, I crushed the body after it was painted and I contacted Moebius and ordered a replacement body. Since the weather had changed here in Maryland, I thought I'd get it out and prep and paint the body.

Looking great ! That paint looks nice and deep .

Don't forget : The transmission -- PowerFlite 2-speed -- is cast iron ( as is the TorqueFlite 3-speed , through 1961 ) .

Really nice.

I built the 55 a few years ago to give to a good friend who owns a 1/1 car.

They build up VERY nice

I've built 2 55 300s. One painted red and the other as a Lee Petty Nascar

The one I built replicated a very good friends car. and it sits quietly in his case now.

He has owned the 1/1 since maybe late 70s or very early 80s time frame . Car has been painted YEARS ago. But still retains the original interior and the power train has never been out of the car .

I have both the 55 and 56 to build for myself,,,,someday here soon I hope
