1938 Ford van in Pearl-Ex super copper. I'd call it a sedna/delivery, but who can argue with the kit manufacturer?  Built it right out of the box.

The paint is what draws you in but then you see how nicely assembled the whole car is.  I think the black grille works really well - in chrome it would have little tinselly ( is that a word?) .  I have yet to buildany of the Coddington kits in my stash but this is making me think about it!

Hi Jim, beautiful build. I agree with the others, the paint colour is perfect, as is the paint job itself. I also agree with Alan, the black grill (non tinselly) looks great.

Hi Alan!

The most interesting component, in my opinion, is the chassis. Details and design are fine as-is, or you can use only the bare frame as a nice base for fat-fendered Fords, and add/scratchbuild your own suspensions.

Yes Claude, the kit has many parts that can be easily swapped to other builds -chassis w/suspension, wheels/tires/ engine/trans, interior parts.

Thank you Gareth.
