crazyjim Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 1938 Ford van in Pearl-Ex super copper. I'd call it a sedna/delivery, but who can argue with the kit manufacturer? Built it right out of the box.
cobraman Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Looks great ! Love the color. That is a pretty nice kit that fits together very well.
crazyjim Posted October 2, 2020 Author Posted October 2, 2020 Thank you Ray. Lots of good parts in the kit for other projects. I bought 3 of them at Ollie's.
gman Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 As always, paint turned out beautiful. Love it. Nice job.
Claude Thibodeau Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Hi Jim! Sweet paint job. Reminds me of root beer... Bravo! CT
alan barton Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 The paint is what draws you in but then you see how nicely assembled the whole car is. I think the black grille works really well - in chrome it would have little tinselly ( is that a word?) . I have yet to buildany of the Coddington kits in my stash but this is making me think about it! Cheers Alan
Steve H Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Hi Jim, beautiful build. I agree with the others, the paint colour is perfect, as is the paint job itself. I also agree with Alan, the black grill (non tinselly) looks great. Cheers, Steve
BeakDoc Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 That’s beautifully done. I really dig the color.
crazyjim Posted October 3, 2020 Author Posted October 3, 2020 Thank you Claude, Steve, Alan, Steve, and Chris.

Details and design are fine as-is, or you can use only the bare frame as a nice base for fat-fendered Fords, and add/scratchbuild your own suspensions. CT
doorsovdoon Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Smooth looking hotrod and nice paint. Lovely.
crazyjim Posted October 3, 2020 Author Posted October 3, 2020 Yes Claude, the kit has many parts that can be easily swapped to other builds -chassis w/suspension, wheels/tires/ engine/trans, interior parts. Thank you Gareth.
