leafsprings Posted May 27, 2021 Author Posted May 27, 2021 The 50's trailer is available from Keystone Keystone Aluminum Model Miniatures 1/25 scale model truck parts Ronks (kamodelminis.com) Lots of great stuff. We really need to support these types of businesses if we want to get more of the stuff were looking for. It appears to be a 3D printed deal and will need some sanding. The trailer comes in 2 pieces and has some wood dowels to align and connect together. 1
gatorincebu Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 Tommy < I like that style of tank trailer . How do you like working with the 3D printed plastic? Ant tips on working with these parts . I just received my order from Doug the day before yesterday . Be Well Gator
Bainford Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 Cool project. I like what you’ve done on the old Ford. Looking great
leafsprings Posted June 23, 2021 Author Posted June 23, 2021 (edited) Finally in the paint shop! Will polish out when fully cured. Looks pretty close to 50's Esso's fleet colors. Still sanding the trailer, not bad, just takes extra time, luckily it does not need any pin hole filler, which is very nice. Edited June 23, 2021 by leafsprings
