White7000 Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Hello, everybody! I think you have already seen models of Ducks and Pigpens from the Convoy. Here is some new truck from this famous movie. 1
TECHMAN Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 ??? Your replica is fantastic!!!! Did you "scratch build" the load on the trailer? DJ
GeeBee Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Superb build and very realistic, put in a different background you'd think these were the real deal.
Safire6 Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Wow that is beautiful! Did you use the AMT kit for the 352?
grodudulle77 Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Wow !!! Very realistic, awesome details . Outstanding work !!! ???
leafsprings Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Great job on this tractor and trailer combo! One of the most realistic versions of the 352 I've ever seen. Especially like the work done to the front axle, it is steerable, and it has been narrowed to sit perfectly in the front fenders!
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 (edited) There is so much to say about this one! First of all you captured the original perfectly! The added details, the wipers, the cab latch, the grill, the load and tarp on the the trailer, the corner glasses on the windshield, the opening doors and the perfect weathering are just a few of the upgrades which add to this great build. I agree this is one of the best 352 that I have ever seen. Excellent work!! Edited November 14, 2020 by DRIPTROIT 71
White7000 Posted November 14, 2020 Author Posted November 14, 2020 Thanks, guys! I'm glad you like it. 8 hours ago, TECHMAN said: Did you "scratch build" the load on the trailer? Yes, the load is fully scratch build. I also modified AMT flatbed trailer and lowered it 4mm at the back. 2 hours ago, Safire6 said: Did you use the AMT kit for the 352 Yes I do. I shorted wheelbase on 10mm, modified front axle, made some new details: air filter, exhaust support, cab lift hydraulic cylinders, grill, mirrors, door handles and some other.
1959scudetto Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Wonderful model, Denis - great photography, too !
Doug 1061 Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 Great job on a difficult kit. X2 on your photography skills.
Bills72sj Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 Sir, You NAILED IT! The load crates are spot on! Most impressive. You definitely took a vision and made it a reality.

Warren D Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 Great job! I've often thought of building some of the other trucks from the movie.

I've often thought of building some of the other trucks from the movie. Thanks, Warren! I grew up on this movie. In my childhood it was impossible to find any information about those ancient trucks, no books, no magazines, no internet, nothing. Only those old trucking movies. That's why I've watched them hundreds of times and remember every truck, even used for minor action. And now i want to enjoy seeing them on my shelves. Edited November 22, 2020 by White7000
Jim Whalen Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Fantastic build! Lots of details and subtle weathering make it a standout model.
