Vintage Revell Cobra FIA

Seeing the release of the Revell Cobra kit and the MFH FIA kit reminded me of the Revell 1/24 Slot Body Cobra so I thought I would share my vintage FIA version.   This is an old build done decades ago using the Revell body.

Very nice Gary.  Those Revell slot car bodies are hard to find these days. I built a FIA Cobra in 1/25 scale using the Sunny kit.

Yes it is a Bartoletti hauler but I have not completed it yet.  The body was built by Mike Sells and I added an AMT Ladder Truck chassis.

If I ever build an FIA car, it would have to be CSX2259, which was driven by Dan Gurney and Bob Johnson.

Hey Ray, just between us it is based upon a bus chassis.  The engine lays on its side amid ships.  ?

I am gonna have to live with my scratch built 2 car hauler...
