This is the Amt 70 Camaro, a kit I kind of had low expectations. Well, there were issues, but no where near as bad as I thought. Like all my builds, it is box stock, and I really enjoyed it. I just took my time, and if I encountered an issue, I addressed it and moved forward. I hope you like it!????

All I can say is O Wow. Beautiful looking build of one of my favorite cars. Great looking paint and all the trim is cleanly done. I also like how you used all of the original looking paint colors for the engine and wheels.

Hey! Thank you! I usually find a car for reference from one of the car Auction sites. This one came from Mecum.????

Very nice! That kit certainly has it’s glitches but it looks like you handled them gracefully. Great photography skills, too!

Hey! Thanks! The worst bit was on the passenger side, along the bottom of the body, what a mess! All I could do was sand it away!????

I purchased this kit earlier this year and have yet to build it. Partly because I like '70 1/2 Camaro and also since I had heard it could be challenging and wanted to see for myself. Your build came out beautiful. I'm personally a bit decal challenged and I would find wrapping the decals over the trunk spoiler to be difficult.

Very nice, and a classic color scheme! Mine had the molding issue on the passenger front wheelwell, but a piece of styrene strip and some putty fixed it pretty good. Once you get past that and trim all the flash, it's actually a pretty nice kit. Hopefully they fixed that molding problem for the full bumper release.

Thanks! It is a challenging kit for sure, but nothing that can't be overcome. I used decal solvents for the first time with this build, and they make a difference!????

Thanks! Other than those issues I didn't really have a problem, everything fits really well. My best advice in building this kit is patience. I really enjoyed this build!????

Great job Craig. Probably my favorite "real" Camaro.

Thanks! I have to agree! I owned an 85 Camaro, that I loved, but I think the second gen version is the best!????

That is how I build..Haven't got dexterity or patience to wire/plumb all the stuff most do..Very clean and well done model that will show well on any table..You should be very proud of your build..
