StanGlover
Here’s my Monogram Ferrari 308! It was an early release, sealed, bagged no-box kit from eBay, molded in red. It’s a curbside kit but it goes together great and has some decent detail. This was my first attempt at the Bare-Metal-Foil-before-you-paint-it technique for the emblems, and it didn’t come out great for the deck lid Ferrari script or the side Pininfarina badges. I think I’m still laying my paint on way too thick, so there wasn’t much of a raised script left to strip the paint back off. Anyways, I think it turned out well enough for my shelf, and lessons learned for the next one!
StanGlover
Oh and the paint is Tamiya X-8 Lemon yellow. I primered the red plastic in black first, followed by grey primer, and then the yellow.
89AKurt
Welcome to the forum! Yellow is a PITA to do right anyway, and that requires a bunch of paint. Think it came out fine! Keep an eye open for aftermarket logos, it's the best way to do them.
Oldcarfan27
Looks great! I like the finish on the wheels, takes away the toy-like appearance from the original.
Hard_2_Handle_454
Cool When I visited my friend in Charlotte a local business owner was using a car exactly like this one as a pizza delivery vehicle.

Spottedlaurel
Great to see another one built. It's a basic kit with minimal parts count but the overall look of it is good and you've done a nice job with it. More than 10 years elapsed between starting and finishing mine....... drodg
Great job. Truly a beautiful car. I came out of the front door of my house this summer and there sat a red 308 that was the father of one of my neighbors. It was a fiberglass body. Interesting how small the car is. Anyhow your build is very good.
