Today is brought to you by the word I M B E C I L I C> For some reason I felt that I could paint with lacquer in a 55 degree garage (outside temp 37). Happy with the color but there are some high spots (pooling). Any suggestions on how to address as I really do want to put her into a pond of purple, or an Easy Off bath.

If it were me, I'd start over.  I've done it several times because I found it faster than trying to fix paint problems.  After lots of sanding, re-sprays didn't look right so I ended up stripping anyway.  Now I save myself time and just dump in the purple pond.  Solid colors can sometime be saved but the metalflakes/pearls get picky.

Strip it and do it again while the paint is still relatively fresh. I hate when paint go's wrong but oddly enough the second attempt usually always ends up looking better.

I'm with the others, I think you'd save yourself a lot of work by just stripping it and respraying, I'm sorry it's being a bear, my friend, have zero doubts that you'll have it looking great though ??
