Here we go. These Ertl kits are so much easier to build compared to AMT Models. I got the frame completed and some paint on the cab and hood today. When the weather permits I’m going to paint the frame. Here’s the Paints I’m using 

Krylon Sweet Cream:   Cab/ Hood

Yenkin-Majestic  Oliver  Green: frame 

Stripes are from Model Truckin that was left over that I cut down.

I decided to put the decals on and call it a day. I also sanded off the IH on the mud flaps so my new ones will fit

Nice color combo !!! your not kidding , the Ertl kits build up nice

The green is gonna look great on the frame

Thanks Jeff and thanks for Hosting again. Yes I always liked the Ertl kits feels good when a kit works with you not against you. It’s supposed to snow here in the Missouri  Ozark Foothills tomorrow I may not get the frame painted

I got the frame painted this morning. Now time to let it dry this tractor paint usually takes up to 3 days to dry and cure.

You’re off to a great start. Your colors look good on the IH.

Dan. Thanks for the complement. International always had different color Coronations with their trucks in the 70s-80.

This will be the power plant. Cummins 350 with a 16 speed transmission. The gear shifter always Remind me of a 16 speed splitter with a vacuum cleaner hose spiraling down it in this truck.

Well before calling it a night I painted the tanks and added some Spoke Wheels to it.

Thanks Jeff. You can build at a good pace when your Model kit goes together with out issues like these Ertl kits. If I get done with this Truck early can I start another build?  If not that’s OK

I really like the color combination too. One day I'll definitely paint one of my small-scale rigs like that!

You can build any number only one will be used for vote which will be your 4300
