Exotics_Builder Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Calling it done. Just some quick shots as I won't set up the photo booth until later this month. Again, period custom per a club challenge, meaning nothing could be done to it that wasn't 1964 or earlier. Got the resin body some years back at the DuPage County Toy Show. Given the body, it would have "poppers" for the doors. Trying to figure out the gas cap door, I decided that it would be in the trunk (ala some European sports cars). Did drill for a frenched antenna and frenched the taillights with 59 Caddy lamps. I am sure our club Adjudicator of All Classic Automotive Genres (Dave Fletcher) will find somethings I incorrectly did. But it is not a type that I have a big interest in and needed to do a lot of research
gman Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 That paint looks luxurious. Nice job, this one was worth the wait.
Beamerman Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Really cool wagon! Awesome...like the color...
Kah puts Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 It has a great vibe, outstanding paint. I really dig those wheel covers, what are they?

carrucha Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Cool wagon. Good paint job. Nice idea using the custom interior from the custom coupe. I might use that for my custom Mercury wagon build.
Grumpa Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 Beautiful custom Gerry! Nice color, and is that a "flamethrower" set up in the tailpipe?.... Nice addition!
