Steve, is the green your using Can spray paint?  Please look over me I always ask questions..

Yes and no. It's the Metalcast stuff , which is more of a die then paint, I think. I know it wrinkles up bad like enamel when you use it strait from the can and shoot lacquer clearcoat over it but I've had good luck mixing it into clear lacquer wit lacquer clear over it several times.

Never has a reaction like this before. It did the same thing but to a lesser amount with my blue '64 Pontiac.

OK, I polished out the paint a couple days ago and plan to do the foiling and detail work around the windows this weekend so I'm bringing it back up so I can find it again easily. ?

Love the colour! What wheel choice have you made?

It's getting another set of the K/H Strippers. I really like these wheels for old Thunderbirds. Wish I had a few more good sets.

Simply beautiful paint. Glad you went with this although I liked the previous green too. Where do those K/H Strippers come from? I know I've seen them.

They're in the AMT '66 Mercury Park Lane and '53 Corvette.

They've also been in a couple other AMT kits in the late '60s and '70s.

Thanks! Got a set coming from the 66 Merc and I'll have to check my 53 Vette kit. Got a few 61-63 Tbirds that may end up with a set or two. May try them on one of my 61-64 Galaxies.
