charlie8575 Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 This is my build of the new-tool '63 Nova wagon. After a terrible fight with Model Master Silver Blue (has anyone ever had that stuff spray right?), I stripped it and painted it Tamiya Gloss Black because idiot-proof. The interior is a couple of different shades of aqua craft paint for the interior. Great kit overall. I glued the hood on prior to building. Bad idea, as you need to be able to press on the firewall to get the chassis pins in it. Oh well. That's why I have Xurons and glue. Just need to print the license plates, touch the back-up lights with a little white paint, and we're done. Highly recommended, especially for beginners or something to build with kids. Charlie Larkin
doorsovdoon Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Nice work. I really like the interior, has a kind of an aquarium feel to it.
TransAmMike Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Nice job on what seems to have become an icon of a car lately??
AMT68 Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Looks very good Charlie and the black/aqua combination was fairly common in that era I believe.
Sledsel Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Looks really good. Am I correct to read the hood is separate? Interesting
