Dan Hay Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 I usually think that I don't need an airbrush, and I do just fine with spray bombs until I see paint jobs like this... WOW. Looks sooo good!

A member of my model club gave me compressor and a Pasche airbrush. All I did was set the pressure fairly low and set the brush so the minimum amount of paint came through. Once I started painting I actually painted the masking first and then moved slowly across to where I wanted to paint to try and control the amount of paint went on the area I wanted to paint
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 First time using an airbrush??? I don't believe it! I love the paint job, that takes some doing! A nice build of a very finicky kit. I've never been able to get that hood fit, on several tries with this kit and the Thames panel. Bravo!!! -RRR
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 Beautiful clean build. Those little buggers were among my favorites back in the glory days of the NHRA. Your model is a good representation of the cars of the era.
