Charlie B Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 First real attempt at a diorama and some outside shots messing with my camera on my phone. Any pointers would be appreciated thanks
Tom Geiger Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 (edited) The first shots look nice. Except when the house got into the photo. Try to be sure everything in the photo is to scale. Your focus is good, I tell people to take the photo from a distance away so both the model and background will be in focus. Then crop it down to what you need. I also tell folks to take a whole mess of photos, then pick out the good ones. It's not like we are paying for film these days! Edited May 17, 2021 by Tom Geiger
TarheelRick Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 A little bondo, couple cans of spray paint and it will be good as new. Very nice weathering.
Charlie B Posted May 18, 2021 Author Posted May 18, 2021 Thanks guys I’ll do some more practice. Gotta say it’s almost as fun as building the models
Captain Spaulding Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 If that's your first one then don't stop. Looks great, really like the weathering.
