SnapTite ‘63 Stingray

Got a few of these, much like the ‘57 Chevy, here’s the latest one though just with the wheels from one of the 57’s before cleaning up the flash and priming it.

Here it is, after the primer was laid down, found a nice Chevy color from Duplicolor’s that will get used on this and a couple other models.

 

Hopefully I’ll have some decent time and weather this weekend to paint it once I get this primer wet sanded and seal primed.

While not an OEM color the Purple plastic actually looks good. What colors are you going to use ??

Some snaptite kits are very cool and a quick fun project.

I have one of those. I did some minor customizing on the body but enjoyed concentrating on detail painting and not spending a load of time detailing out an engine and chassis!

I have built several of those snapper Vettes, great canvas and they detail nicely.

Those wheels look good on the Corvette. Seen them on the '57 Chevy, they're not bad looking wheels for a snapper.

The looks pretty darn good. I'm in the beginning stages of doing the Snap '57.  Pretty amazing how good these look.
