Ok....I tried the bmf this morning on my seats and I gotta say, you guys that apply this so nicely my hat's off to you.  I guess I've had to much coffee this morning but it was a bear to trim and keep on the part.  How does it look to you guys before I continue on?  Do I need to peel it off and take another run at it???

Looks good. And foil does not like to stick to flat paint! I

Thanks fellows.  Yeah....I did a couple test before I did my seats.  The only thing it really wanted to stick to was an unpainted surface.  it stuck pretty good to the acrylic though.

Worked a little on the detailing for the firewall and dash.  My Molotow Chrome pen crapped out on me so I had to stop.  Wasn't planning on a trip to the hobby shop today.

Raining this morning so no spray painting.  I did get the interior completed for now.  May do a little more touch up.  Not sure if i like the color on the console.

Interior looks great. A good place to practice BMF since it will only be seen from side angles once it’s in the body.

Keep working with the BMF and don’t get discouraged. One thing you need to know is not to use any where you have touched the glue. Finger grease does affect it. Also pulling it up and repositioning it hurts the glue. Cut pieces larger than needed so you pop it on once, then cut away the excess, including the areas where you touched the glue!

Did a little work on the front grille.  I decided not to put the clear lenses in as I like the look as it is.  Did some black wash in the grille.  Looks like there is nothing on the right side but it must be the lighting.

Looking good, have you tried fitting the windows in place yet? Be very careful, there is just no room for error when applying the glue!!

Not to that point yet but thanks for the heads up man.  I'm fighting the bottom radiator hose.

Ok....Finally got the engine bay buttoned up.  I see a few things I need to touch up but for the most part it's completed.  I was going to try my hand at painting clamps around the radiator hoses but wasn't sure I could paint a straight line.  How do you fellow do it?

Just cut yourself a small strip of aluminum foil and wrap around the hose, tack in place with super glue.

Or, use the Aluminum tape from the hardware store, cut thin strip and wrap it around. No glue required.
it’s like really thick BMF. Lifetime size roll is under $10.
