Can one of you post a pic of it with a recognizable paint bottle mounted in it? I imagine the bottle is mounted on it’s side and the thing oscillates? Thx!

Shaken or stirred, which is better? I use one of these so the lids don’t get paint all over them. ?

I don’t think bubbles are too much of a concern, especially if you are blowing it through an airbrush. The mess on the lids is my main irk. I have had some old testors paints that I couldn’t get the lids off with a pair of pliers.?

I’ve had to use the pliers method many times and every time I do it I fear I might crack the bottle in half and get paint and glass fragments everywhere....

Makes me wonder if this has happened to anybody?

Yes, a couple times with Testors bottles, when I was young and less diligent with keeping the bottle threads and cap clean. The bottles didn’t shatter so much as break into two or three large pieces. Nonetheless, makes a heck of a mess.

My trusty Robart paint shaker died after many, many years of faithful service. Sometimes near the end it would lock up and I'd have to take the bottom off and nudge it along and then it would work fine for a while. When it did finally die I bought one of the silver fingernail polish shakers as pictured in the first post from Amazon. I haven't had it a long time and while it's a little bit noisier than the Robart, it seems to do a fine job.....jury's still out.

After my 3 cups of coffee in the morning all I have to do is hold a bottle of paint in each hand and let the shaking begin ☺
