Zippi Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 If you followed my build you know I had a problem at the end of the build. With that being said I got everything put back together except the interior. I cleaned it up and glued it back together but I still couldn't get the body to go all the way down. I wasn't going to fight it again so I left the door panels and dash out. I also got the decal fixed I guess. Looks a little crooked but that's the best I could do. I tried polishing the paint in the area that got messed up and it looks better than it did but still looks bad. Enjoy the pics I guess fellows. 1
cobraman Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 Looks darn nice to me Bob. Sometimes we are our own worse critics. 1

espo Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 Beautiful looking finish and nicely detailed engine.
papajohn97 Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 You did a great job Bob recovering from the final assembly troubles, it doesn’t show in your finished product, I can’t even find the crooked decal. And your foil work looks fabulous to me. Job well done! Im jealous of your 1:1 ‘49, you must have guys following you home wanting to know if you want to sell. What a gorgeous ride!

It was the decal on the passengers side door glass. Thanks for the comment on my 49. It's funny you mention that about guys wanting to buy my truck. I am ask a lot at the cruise-in's if it is for sale. I had one fellow at a show come back twice throwing out a number at me. I guess he really wanted it.
