Did this one as a late fifties mild custom. OOB except for the steering wheel and adding a fuel pump to the stock engine. Also made a simple tag bracket from evergreen strip. She's painted with some Krylon Colormaster Satin Ivory. The frame, firewall and dash are done in Tamiya Light Sand. The suspension, grille and other body trim is Tamiya British green. Engine is some old Humbrol Brunswick Green enamel. Seat and tonneau are just plain old Testors Flat Brown enamel from the little bottle. Still need to add the radiator hoses to finish. Oh yeah, removed the hood sides because I think it makes it look jauntier.

These old AMT trophy kits still make nice models right from the box and it went together with no issues.

Can't go wrong with a 34 Ford pickup in any style and this mild custom is way beyond cool. Never would have thought of an Ivory, but it really smokes on this one.

Man, that looks sharp! I love the color, can't go wrong with the flathead and the wheels & tires make it period perfect.
