Great looking seats, is the dash a Corvette dash? I like the look of your dash pictured…

Yes the seats look kind of right, they come from Revell ‘67 Chevelle kit. The dash is as you guessed from C5R since I have one over.

Yes it’s rounded differeny on the edges. Will try turn it but I think you see better in one of the later pics that I posted right now.

Yah, it seems to be in right-side-up in that pic.

Suggestions needed.
I test fitted the non RS grill and I have a huge gap on top of the grill. Any special fixes for this?

I'd use some strip styrene, layer in with some ABS glue, that will 'weld' the plastic stipes together and you can then sand for a perfect fit. Good luck , looks like a great start and love the subject!

This '69 is looking great so far. Those wheels really fit the need. Looking forward to more.

Thanks! I will get back to it eventually ?

Have been thinking of doing this one for the p2p build but any way. Did some cage work. I think I will be using a nascar dash with a ,5 or 1mm sheet on top as dashboard.

Going to follow this one as working on same kit.

Like the work to get some brakes on this car, I need to look at a similar idea

Slow progress on my builds m8! So you will finish yours ages before me ? brakes are easy to fit since brake shields for the fronts are there.

Opening grilles can be tricky, it looks like you have a good jump on this one. With a little more cleanup it could still turn out great (grate? :D)

Seriously though, I've found that the brisk and careful use of a medium stiffness can be good at cleaning most of those annoying styrene burrs.

I have an old manicure brush that I use in situations like this.

Nice work on the grill, and everything else too!? After filing the backside thin, I scraped the shards off with a hobby knife. Then cut some very narrow strips of fine sandpaper to drag through the slots.

Okay so I lost my nut some where on the floor. So I might have to order a set of nuts or change to these with the same tires. Looks bad as in my opinion and true 60’s racer since they are from the 1/24 GT40 and the old school knock offs. Would be painted gray if so.

I could also just move the knockoffs ?
