Kit Karson Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 I have it on good word that this is headed to the paint booth...
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted September 12, 2021 Author Posted September 12, 2021 Indeed it is! Parts all washed..... Parts to be painted, most with holding sticks attached, ready for primer... I'm heading out for vacation in a week for two weeks, so there won't be any updates for a while....peace out. -RRR 1

Rocking Rodney Rat Posted October 9, 2021 Author Posted October 9, 2021 I'm starting on painting the body. The cove has been painted white with a quick overcoat of pearl. I have just added a bit of gold fade on the bottom edge. The rest of the body will be red.... More later. -RRR 1
Kit Karson Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 Great looking fade, Brother! Looking forward to the final body color... btw thought others might like to know a little something about modeling and kolor choices:
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted October 11, 2021 Author Posted October 11, 2021 Painting continues...the main color is Testors "Extreme" Revving Red decanted and shot through an airbrush... decals up next.... Thanks for looking.... -RRR
Speedpro Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 RRR- That revving red is perfect. And with the color choice's in the cove makes for a very racy combination! That red is going to pop even more once you hit it with clear. Your choice of blue for the frame and other parts has me on the fence but you know what your doing so i'm sure its going to all work well together. I really like this part of your builds.

Rocking Rodney Rat Posted October 12, 2021 Author Posted October 12, 2021 So, my fellow drag racing enthusiasts. Does anyone know what letter class designation this car would be considered by NHRA or other sanctioning organization? Getting ready to decal and am wondering....thanks. -RRR
