mrmike Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 This is my '87 Buick Regal T-Type painted with Tamiya TS-18 Metallic Red with a grey and black interior. The model was rebuilt with white letter tires, wired engine and Alclad II Chrome paint on the bumpers. 1 1
djmcguire Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 That turned out nice and I like that color...huge fan of the GN/T-Type Regal and you definitely captured it.
Rob Hall Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Nice..there is a 1:1 T-Type around here painted in a similar red with GNX wheels.
Dominik Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 Imo the Buick is one of the best looking cars of his decade. I love the "bad look" from.the front. Well built, well done!

bogger44 Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Nicely done Mike, I like it! I've been getting a hankering to dig out my Grand National from the stash lately, this gives me a little more inspiration.
mrmike Posted October 7, 2021 Author Posted October 7, 2021 Thank you Carl and Tony! Tony, go for it! I find that these 1/24 scale kits are easy for detailing. You'll probably enjoy it!

AMT68 Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Excellent work and I envision building my GN in similar fashion as a T-Type.
mrmike Posted November 2, 2021 Author Posted November 2, 2021 Thank you JT, James, Mike, Tom and John! I have since painted the headlight openings flat black to match the grille and it looks much better! A little more sinister.
