Zippi Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 (edited) Got this done this morning. This is the MPC 1932 Ford Sedan Delivery. Unfortunately once I got to the end the hood would not fit, not even close. Maybe I didnt get the body square enough on the chassis. Paint was Anita's acrylic paint cleared with Rust-Oleum clear lacquer then polished with Novus 2. Edited October 19, 2021 by Zippi

espo Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 Beautiful looking paint and finish. I like the contrast between the body and the fenders. These look best with the engine out in the breeze anyway.
Oldcarfan27 Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 Looks great! I like the colors. So lacquer is safely compatible over acrylic craft paint?

TransAmMike Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 The Rusto clear Bob and I use is the Rusto acrylic clear lacquer. Works well with craft paint.

David G. Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Wow Bob, you're just cranking them out! That's a beautiful color combination, nicely built with lots of fun detail work. Bummer about the hood though, good thing that the engine looks as nice as it does. David G.
