Oldmopars Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 (edited) My daughter, 29 loves El Camino's, Ranchero's and the Subaru Brat. I picked this kit up at HL and decided to build it for her. This is not a bad kit. It does have some minor issues, but it is an AMT kit from 1978. The decals are a huge improvement over the originals, way too go R2. I wired the engine, but it is hard to tell. I think the tail lights are the worst part of the kit, they just don't fit well and there is not a lot to attach them too. I have about 3 days into this kit, started Monday night and finished Wednesday. I built this OOB, Duplicolor paint, nothing special. It is a fun kit that builds into a really cute little Brat. espo Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Looks great. I always thought this was an interesting car.
BeakDoc Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 I picked up one of these a month or so ago. Seeing your build may just be the inspiration needed to move it up in the queue. Boy, those jump seats….
