image0.thumb.jpeg.920fc15db705b26c5878a552172fde4c.jpegI've had these since I was a kit. The Plymouth I repainted peach and white but wanted to restore it back to the original blue/white scheme. The Jag I brush painted dark blue but now it's back to the original maroon metallic. The police car was a mess so I re-painted it and made the decals out of regular printer paper. They came out pretty good.

Thank you Gene, Gary and Steve. I also have other Corgi and Dinky cars along with all my matchbox cars. Most in boxes. Firehouse. Yesteryears and city. I also restored the Honda motorcycle and trailer.

A couple of questions about the police car above: What is the scale? (or size?) Are they hard to find? Is it a Dinky or Corgi? I ask because I'd like to find one! I have the real thing, a fixer-upper I bought last year. If you're not familiar with them, it's a 1961 Olds Super 88 4-door hardtop.

This City playset is an unusual thing, I can't recall seeing one before. Is it roughly of the smaller 1:64-ish scale?

Yes Nigel. It was for the 1/64 Matchbox cars. Reason being you don't see a lot of them is because after a while. Years really. The plastic they used back then gets brittle. Mine ins't in great shape because of that reason. it's roughly 3 X 5 ft when opened. And the center building with the red roof is a place to store about 12 cars.

I had one as well, but it's long gone.

Nice job guys!

I have a Lone Star Rolls Royce I want to restore. I stripped the paint off its body, but then the project stalled (I have too many projects going on).
