I purchased the files from Cults3d and printed them myself. If you have a 3d printer, the designers are MCS-Design (engine) zforcemodelworks (wheel/tire)
Sledsel
Nice. I keep looking at getting that kit but I do not like the pancaked hood. Anyone know if the older Revell hood fits?

Nice to see what their stuff looks like when printed.

Anyone know if the older Revell hood fits? It doesn't fit. This kit is sectioned through the cowl, so any stock hood ends up a mile taller than the cowl

A couple people have tried their hand at turning the body back to stock since the original Revell 56 has quite a few issues. It doesn't take a ton of work, especially if you study the info on what Foose's crew did to alter the truck, and then do those things in reverse. Use the hood and fenders from the ERTL 53 F100. {They are much more correct then the old 56 F100 Revell did. The Monogram 55 Ford F100 is also way incorrect.} That is how I did mine in my thread called "Defoosing the FD 100" near the top of the this section of WIPS.
AmericanMuscleFan
Your 3D printed pieces are very nice, Jason.👌 I've probably asked you this before, but I assume you have an SLA printer? If so, do you have any problems with the parts, I've read in comments that the parts are more fragile and brittle than those produced with FDM technology and that they should not be exposed to direct sunlight. The possibilities of this technology are almost infinite and open the door to very interesting subject, I've been thinking about it for a while... more toys for the workbench...🤫

streetmachine11
I wrapped up this build before the last GSL. All kit chrome was stripped and airbrushed with molitow liquid chrome along with the resin engine parts, exhaust and wheel barrels. A light sand and polish Here are the final pictures I was happy to make it to the GSL for their final show. And took a handful of cars to show. Finally got to meet and see some members here and their work in person.
