Cool Hand
Time to get this back on the bench. Started the kit in 2016, but like some of my others it stalled. Wheels. Current state of the parts. These pics are from when I set up the stance in 2016. Engine is already complete. Work that was previously done 2016. Modified the oob kit suspension to look like it has the hydraulic cylinders. Edited January 29, 2022 by Cool Hand
Cool Hand
Continuing on with the previous work done. Opened the boot/trunk. Scratch built some hydraulic pumps and will be using Pegasus batteries. Now to try and pick it up and start again from where it stalled.

Mattilacken
Sweet build! Those impalas are beautiful and your mods look good! I am no low rider fan but like the low stance 😉

Not super low this one, probably say its at drive height.

Cool Hand
Applied what I call a light check coat of 1500 black surfacer. This help me to see all the mold lines, other issue's and what has been done.
rightrudder
Crazy good work on that opening trunk and those scratchbuilt pumps! Body looks great in just the surfacer. Any idea what body color will be? With the lighting, it almost looks like a dark plum.

Cool Hand
Thanks Martin, knew the Lowrider builds would get your attention. Here is another pic trying out a different arrangement.
rightrudder
Black is...the new black! I like the new battery/pump arrangement better. I've got a '65 Impala en route so your build is huge inspiration! I think I'll go the resto-mod route, but you know with these models, anything can happen. slusher
Great stance and engine! May I ask how did you make the engine stand Luke?
