bbowser Posted February 10, 2022 Posted February 10, 2022 Finished this up last night, not the best but I'm glad its done! Typical Heller kit, quirky assembly, vague instructions but the only game in town for this vehicle. I should have taken some interior shots before closing it up, can't see much through the windows. Neat little 4-cylinder engine/transaxle with decent details. Comments welcome, thanks for looking. 4
bisc63 Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 I love funky cars like this. Is this kit 1/24 or 1/43?
Tom99 Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Very nice, I like it and want one. Most cool!
happy grumpy Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Nicely built and painted. I had this kit but a heavy object fell on it sending it in another universe. I'll have to get another, and you're right, some heller kits are , shall we say, challenging?.
unclescott58 Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Wow! Looks great. I love models of those funky, weird, and for the most part, unloved cars.
espo Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Great looking build, and it does bring back memories of a high school friend that got his folks CV when he got his license. I remember going to a gas station with him and the guy put the gas in the radiator by mistake. Those two fillers seem reversed from what you might expect.

papajohn97 Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Nice job on this rarely seen model and an excellent choice on the color. Are those wiper blades really molded into the windshield? I love that they’re stuck in the upward position (probably realistic for a Renault?…).

Hans1971 Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 I made exactly the same kit long time ago, in my teenage years when I started the hobby. It resulted in what we know as ' a gluebomb'. It's still somewhere in my stash. I keep it to transform it someday in a rusty wreck.
ATHU Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Very nice!! I've built the kit a couple of times, my parents owned a 4CV when I was born so I've always felt I have a connection to that little car!!
