Finished this up last night, not the best but I'm glad its done!  Typical Heller kit, quirky assembly, vague instructions but the only game in town for this vehicle.  I should have taken some interior shots before closing it up, can't see much through the windows.  Neat little 4-cylinder engine/transaxle with decent details.  Comments welcome, thanks for looking.

Nicely built and painted. I had this kit but a heavy object fell on it sending it in another universe. I'll have to get another, and you're right, some heller kits are , shall we say, challenging?.

Great looking build, and it does bring back memories of a high school friend that got his folks CV when he got his license. I remember going to a gas station with him and the guy put the gas in the radiator by mistake. Those two fillers seem reversed from what you might expect.

I love funky cars like this. Is this kit 1/24 or 1/43?

It's 1/24.  Thanks for all the kind comments.

Nice job on this rarely seen model and  an excellent choice on the color. Are those wiper blades really molded into the windshield? I love that they’re stuck in the upward position (probably realistic for a Renault?…).

Yeah, I was too chicken to try to paint them.

I made exactly the same kit long time ago, in my teenage years when I started the hobby.
It resulted in what we know as ' a gluebomb'.
It's still somewhere in my stash. I keep it to transform it someday in a rusty wreck.

Very nice!!

I've built the kit a couple of times, my parents owned a 4CV when I was born so I've always felt I have a connection to that little car!!
