Taking a quick spin around the PlatzmaBeemaNuNu stand...the back row are models we should see in 2022 including the Volvo BTCC, Audi A4 BTCC and 2008 E90 320i WTCC

The middle tier of prototypes are a Alfa Romeo 155 (the Touring Car version, not the DTM monster), Rover SD1, 24hrs of Le Mans RX-7, and BMW 320i Gr. 5

Also on display is their upcoming 1/12 Lotus and first motorcycle project, something that's been talked about behind closed doors for awhile, and they also announced they will be doing another 1/12 F1 Car with a McLaren MP4/4.

I am THRILLED for that Rover SD1! That's genuinely a really cool touring car subject to pick!

I'd like to claim full credit on that, but that would be fibbing. But suffice it to say I've been pushing for it to be done ever since it was peeking out of the corner at Macau chasing down Johnny Cecotto's 240 on the box art.

Tom Walkinshaw is piloting the Rover and that's how they finished the race with the other team Volvo 240 (Thomas Lindstrom) finishing 3rd. Decals in the box to do both Volvos, and while the Rover is being tagged as a ETCC 1986 livery on the tag, if the Watson's livery isn't part of a 2n1 decal, it'll be out shortly thereafter from S.K. Decals.

Thanks for sharing James, anymore details or pics of the LB Works Murcielago

Go back one page, it's the last post before we started Page 3. No info other than the prototype and a "2023" release date.

Thanks, my bad for not going back a page.

Sweet!! cant wait for this one now. Liberty Walk kits must sell well to keep producing new kits, they are up to 19 in series now.

Found a little bit better pic of the Audi e-TRON

That looks pretty good, when they announced it i assumed it would be the r8 tool modified. I hope they didn't put the brakes in between the wheel halves again like on the r8 kits

E-tron is a sedan. Taycan platform. Nothing to do with R8.

This morning from the Department of Left Field Department we got the debut of the new Meng 1/24 kit...

Indeed! And an odd choice. Bit of a mundane car, and you think there would be better selling choices. Kitting a Tesla, for instance, or a Lambo SUV.

But now you can build the BMW that makes everyone hate the new Supra...🤣

I saw in the corner of one of the pics that ICM has a presence at the show. Wondering with everything going on in their home country what news they had to present at the show.

Hasegawa is their importer in Japan, so they themselves weren't actually there (although they are back up and running).

Mundane? It is a sports car.

They obviously have a working relationship (ie - paid them money) with BMW as this is their third BMW kit after the two motorcycles. I would not be surprised to see more BMW from Meng in the future.
