Nazz Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Steve, another masterpiece! Amazing work! I would like to do one of these some day. I was just looking at the '58 Belvedere to see how moch work it would take to convert it to the '58 Dodge. Might be doable with lots of work. Jerry
Lunajammer Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 This is lovely to the 9's. A dreamboat. A dear and long time friend of mine has a brightwork shop and he said he had to polish 200-feet of stainless from a '59 Impala. I shudder to think how many feet of stainless this one has.
TransAmMike Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Well Steven, I missed this one when you first posted. What a beeee-u-tiful car, looks great in those colors and supurb pics.?
1959scudetto Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Wonderful model, Steven - excellent colors and detail. It could almost be mistaken for a real one!
Davewilly Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Great color combo! and a great looking build as well!
misterNNL Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 These were new cars when I was a junior in high school. A neighbor of ours had one that IIRC had a three tone paint job. Jet age styling was a beautiful thing.
Oldcarfan27 Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 Thank You Steve. It's good to have great photos of your builds saved here for posterity. I don't think I've gotten to see all your builds yet.
Falcon Ranchero Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Stunning work, as always. The front end of these always gets me, the 59 Dodge looks so sinister.
iwantmodels Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Beautiful build and great color choice. I hope you re-take photos of your 1959 Mercury Park Lane.
Ragtop Man Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Indirect natural light is how these should be viewed. Question: Where did you get the interior and clear for the Lancer? Did those caps come with the car, or are they from the AMT Imperial. Absolutely stunning look, great work, that is EXACTLY what they should look like!!!
Kah puts Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I’ve seen this one before and with the new photos it looks even better, I know you have a lot of great builds so keep them coming 👍
